Gentle, Non-Invasive Treatment
Dogs can carry physical tension and emotional stress in the body — through injury, inflammation, compensation patterns or prolonged nervous system strain.

Therapeutic bodywork provides calm, targeted support to help release restriction, improve comfort and restore balance.

Sessions are available in person, I also offer remote Reiki, depending on the needs.
Individualised Support

Each therapy offered works at a slightly different level — muscular, cellular or nervous system — and can be used independently or combined depending on what is called for.

Some dogs benefit from targeted mobility support. Others need help settling an overactive nervous system. Many benefit from a thoughtful combination.

Emmett Muscle Release

Emmett Muscle Release is a gentle, light-touch muscle and soft tissue technique designed to reduce physical restriction and support mobility.

Using precise finger pressure at specific points, the technique encourages muscles to release without forceful manipulation. It works in partnership with the nervous system rather than overriding it.

Emmett may be particularly helpful for dogs experiencing:

• Stiffness or restricted movement
• Postural imbalance
• Compensatory strain patterns
• Recovery from physical exertion
• Ongoing mobility maintenance

This is not deep tissue massage or force-based adjustment. It is subtle, responsive work suited to dogs of all ages.

Reiki
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that supports relaxation and nervous system regulation.
While it is often sought by owners of anxious dogs, its benefits extend far beyond anxiety alone. By helping the body balance itself, to shift out of stress and into a more regulated state, Reiki supports both physical and emotional wellbeing.

Sessions involve calm, focused touch or hands held close to the body. There is no manipulation, pressure or force.

Reiki may be supportive for dogs experiencing:

• Anxiety or heightened sensitivity
• Behavioural reactivity linked to stress
• Difficulty settling or sleeping
• Recovery periods
• Ongoing nervous system tension
• Chronic inflammatory strain

Joint Reiki sessions for both dog and owner are also available, supporting regulation and connection at both ends of the lead.
What to Expect

Sessions are calm and unhurried.

Your dog is treated where they communicate they want to be — manipulation or force. Therapy is given using hands-off, or light touch while your dog stands or lies comfortably.

A session typically includes:

• A short discussion about your dog’s history and your concerns
• Observation of posture and movement
• Gentle, targeted therapy
• Time to settle and process

Some dogs visibly relax during treatment. Others respond more gradually. Every dog is individual and treated with that in mind
